I have had a love-hate relationship with this song. It is extremely catchy, but it feels morally wrong at the surface. The more I think about it, the more I believe this is about a woman who loves the wrong type of man. She wants to love a good man and be a good person, but she has fallen in love with an evil person. This is not the love that can build a house - it is the love that sinks a dead body. It is a song about self-destruction. I also think that Lady Gaga may have written this to be controversial.

I love the part of the song where she describes herself as a nightmare dressed like a daydream. She is able to be this amazing perfect woman, but this can only last for a month until the truth about who she really is comes out. I think this describes so many people when they first start dating someone. They put their best foot forward, but when their real insecure self shows up, tables turn and things can get ugly.
Elastic Heart by Sia
This song is great to listen to after a break-up. It is a story of a woman’s fight for survival as she tries to find a love that will last. She has thick skin, which mean she can handle a lot of problems in a relationship. She also has an elastic heart, which I think means that she can adjust to her loved one. The issue that keeps coming up is that her loved ones keep pushing her to her breaking point. You can see that when she mentions that they pull too hard and that their blade is too sharp. She tries to make it clear that she can and will break after a certain point, and then after that, she will be gone forever. They will never see her move again, because she will be out of their lives.
