In Mexico they celebrate 'day if the dead' from 31st Oct -2nd November. Just like here in the UK, America, Canada and Ireland we celebrate 'All Hallows Eve" or better known as 'Halloween". In Mexico, the folk celebrate the lives of their loved ones who have 'passed over'. They take picnics by the gravesides of loved ones passed over, listen to a Mariachi band and drink tequila or from this song margarita! It is believed that the spirits of those loved ones passed over return to join in the celebration, hence "Are you with me?"
