It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas cover It's Beginning to Look a Lot like Christmas by Michael Bublé

With Christmas just around the corner, these songs are becoming easily relatable now days. Every where I go, I get to see the beautiful Christmas lights, decorated trees, Santa, candy canes, and all other Christmas related items mentioned in this song. And not only that, I can feel the Christmas spirit in the air because the excitement is all around us. This sight is seen every year, and every year at around this time, these songs start to become more important for us.

Adore You cover Adore You by Harry Styles

Adore you, as evident by the name is a love song and follows the theme of Watermelon sugar high. It’s about the initial excitement you get when you meet someone. But Adore you emphasizes more on the desire to love that person and just wanting them to the point where the singer even says “You don't have to say you love me / You don't have to say you're mine." So he doesn’t want anything in return for his love.

Let Me Love You Like A Woman cover Let Me Love You Like A Woman by Lana Del Rey

The singer of this song is so deeply in love with her lover that she is ready to leave LA for him. She is willing to go anywhere with him because she just wants him to be with her. Her love for him is very honest and pure. She wants to go far away with him taking a break from life and to be in peace. She just wants to revive the good time she had with him without any pressure from the world.

lie to me cover lie to me by Ali Gatie, Tate McRae

Lie...lie is something which can’t be seen but our lives are affected badly because of it. When you love someone with all your heart, you open up your feelings in front of them. You also expect the same from them. But due to a very odd reason, he/she is diverted towards someone else and lie about that. Then it feels like their heart is going to stop beating. Feelings are broken like broken pieces of glass that can’t even be fixed together. Now the singer has no affection towards their lover and is saying “don’t even try to tell me that I am wrong because you will lie again as you were doing all the time”.

Midnight Sky cover Midnight Sky by Miley Cyrus

I think that she is low key dissing her relationship with Liam Hemsworth. This is because the most serious relationship she had, which required the most amount of commitment, was with her former husband and on and off partner of 10 years, Liam Hemsworth. She is basically saying that she was trapped in that relationship. It was keeping her bound and her freedom was impacted, which i think is not that unusual in a marriage. But now Miley finally has her freedom.

Sofia cover Sofia by Clairo

I have been through the same thing that is mentioned in the song. I was in a relationship with a guy that my friends circle and family did not approve of. The worst part is that there was not even a single solid reason for this disapproval. But the way they judged us and saw us made us feel like we were committing a crime, just like it says here in this song. That really impacted my relationship in a horrible way. Alan's interpretation is quite accurate because I can relate to it very deeply.

Back To You cover Back To You by O.T. Genasis ft. Chris Brown, Charlie Wilson

This song is the perfect description of the fact that money can't buy you everything, especially love. The singer is saying that he got his girlfriend all the things in the world. He got her Chanel clutches, Gucci shoes, and other expensive high end things. The intention behind this was to "bribe" her in order to make her fall in love with him. But the truth of the matter is that money cannot but you love. It can temporarily get someone to stay with you for a little while, but as soon as someone else offers them more money, they'll leave immediately.

Chasing_(Demo) cover Chasing_(Demo) by NF, Mikayla Sippel

When I was a kid I used to think that the lives of celebrities were perfect. They had everything they every needed, money, love, fans, fame etc. But now I know that it's not all fun and games. The celebrities now days have also become a lot more vocal about how their lifestyle often negatively impacts their mental health. This song is a great example of that. The singer in this song is basically jut saying that they want to escape the lives that their living and go to a much more peaceful place. They want a break from all the sadness, insecurities, and constant judgement of the people.

Mistletoe cover Mistletoe by Justin Bieber

This song is perfect for you if you want to be reminded just how single you are going to be this Christmas. In this song, Justin is basically just describing how important the emotion of love is. He is saying that when there is love, everything else seems insignificant. He is highlighting all the important things that happen in Christmas, like the arrival of Santa, the lights, the snow, etc. But he is saying that he does not care about any of that as long as he gets his love. This shows that love is the most powerful and consuming emotion out there.

Commander In Chief cover Commander In Chief by Demi Lovato

I think that this song cannot be limited to just President Donald Trump. This can be taken in a very broader perspective as well. In my opinion, this could be referring to all governments and leaders all over the world. No country in the world was able to deal with the pandemic as well as they should have, no matter how well developed they are. So I think it would be better to take this song with regards to all politicians and leaders as a whole.
