Been on This Journey
Lyrics
From cradle to the grave I remain grateful
That I'm able to stay in a way I'm quite navel
I Try to centre myself when I become unstable
Coz I know mental health for some can be fatal
So many men feel shameful to speak out unable
To seek the help needed due to the stigma
It ain't weak to speak out see I mean shit bruh
Young Men more likely to take their own lives
Then to die naturally see it really hits ya
Do a bit of research and go check the figures
Depression in young men the fucking silent killer
But I know what it's like I bottle everything up
Hide my emotions pretend not to give a fuck
I know it's not healthy but I don't want to Burden
Anyone else see Im not the type of person
To let others worry about me it seems worth it
So I keep it inside despite all I'm hurting
See I hide it behind pints or behind the bourbon
When I feel like it's better it then begins to worsen
Like I Try believe in myself, But instead I'm cynic
I Can't get optimistic and My head isn't in it
I Stopped pressing my limits and I rested a minute
Neglected my talent, And I let It Diminish
But I'm back with the bars ascending with lyrics
So will I keep, my head above the water
Or will I be defeated, by my self inflicted slaughter
Even with these demons I try to think much broader
This journey see for some it is much shorter
So make the most of every minute, life live it
And Fucking give it everything you got to give it
Check on ya mates and always be there to give em
A bit of support so they know your there with em
When the going gets tough coz believe it isn't
A fucking good feeling
When you need a friend but they remain distant
If you ever need someone I'm always here to listen
Now See what I'm spitting is in hope I maybe fixing
Just 1 person or so they know what they're feeling
Isn't just them and to know they're not alone
Coz I know what it's like to think your on your own
