I see the news and every station saying something else
Political drama our presidents a comedian
Trigger fingers or twitter fingers I’m in disbelief and I
Am sick and tired of people targeting race
I thought we grew as a culture what kind of place are we living in people focused on dividends
Instead of treating each other with fairness you show ignorance how about envisioning
A peaceful state we all living in
This is the time for change
Rearrange the minds of the deranged and explain
This is all that we got is this conversation
Between one other that creates the change yeah

Have different opinions and can disagree peacefully
Treat each other as humans and no violence over color
I grew up on black culture I’ll go to war for my brothers
But I am hoping we can find a way to have these conversations
And acknowledge that white privilege exists on a daily basis
In this beautiful country of ours land of the people
Seems like the land of the rich and a government that's so lethal
I know the mood is somber but this the times that we living
I time stamp this 2020 because this year has been ignorant
Or maybe this is the year that we can all flip our vision
And show commitment to a more equal mission
Just saying
