Easily their saddest and most depressing song. It happens to be my favorite, as the lyrics are beautiful. It is most likely talking about the town of Seville, and a devastating plague that swept through it. It talks about a little girl, Sheena Bella, who is shown mourning the loss of most likely her parents, all while waiting for herself to die too. It could also be thought of as a Jewish family being held at a concentration camp, and Sheena's parents are killed, and that she is next. A very sad song indeed, but gives us a perspective of children during plagues, and their innocent minds crushed with the sad truth of death. Yet once again, Christians have no fear of this, as we will be whisked away in the twinkle of an eye. (Not preaching, just sharing some thoughts :)
Seville
Lyrics
They're gonna kill us all
Oh Sheena kneels and prays over the graves
and wishes of her god to be so brave
the roses she had picked fall from her hand.
Onto the ground which will soon hold her
Sheena Bella
Sheena Bella
Oh Sheena Bella walks
and Sheena Bella strays
Oh, fetal Sheena counts off her last days
The colors of the grass
The shadows on the floor
The precious things that she had no time for.
She was only 4 years old.
She was barely 4 years old.
Sheena Bella
Sheena Bella
Sheena Bella
Sheena Bella
They're gonna kill us all
They're gonna kill us all
