Immature
Lyrics
A trip backwards to when he was a younger boy
Mistakes, havoc, and all that shit employed
Unfold the story book, tears in the crease
It stings sometimes, you gotta take action as the
Least worthy candidate, it's really wild that he was chosen
As the leader of a tribe - the walls we're closing
Put the Tide Pod down, Tekashi was playing
Had a feeling in his throat, it was life slaying
He stood around, calculated many breath fading
Listened close to the skies, there was air raiding
Moved from shelter to shelter, his recollection
Two small kids up the street, needed protection
Then he came to, faced the fact, he was the one
Who had to run this whole board, like a chairman
Only 12, yet he delved, into authority
If anyone knew how to stay alive it was he
So he said to the children: "find your father if you can"
"But sir our fathers been kidnapped inside a van"
"I know you're young but stay brave, I'm only 12 myself"
And then a gun shot, followed by a falling shelf
"What the fuck you lames want?" claimed an ominous voice
His whole demeanor made him feel like he had no choice
So he declared he was a king and he stood up
As the whole block continued panicking, he stood up
Yeah, he was at war with a less than righteous physical
He was assaulted brutally, the scene was miserable
He was beaten critically to the point of black out
He wanted back out, but he was knocked the fuck out
When he woke he found himself inside a dark space
No more screams from the city, but he felt unsafe
He waited intent, on what would become his fate
And then the guards appeared, he knew it was too late
They yanked him by the collar, drug him to hall light
He wasn't even cuffed but he felt too weak to fight
He looked around and saw many boys crying
As if many dreams behind bars were all dying
Walking some ways, coming to abrupt stop
That's when he was blindfolded, punched on the top
"Keep it steppin'", they said, he wondered where they head
But he was silenced by the blood trickling down his head
He heard them open the door so from behind he followed
And then they sat his ass down he felt woozy hollow
"You are responsible", he heard from across the room
It was a dark soul, and his presence boomed
"Why would you terrify all my people like this?"
"Because you had to abuse such a gift like this
You're not the only one, everyone here kings too
We gave you all mics, and what do you do
Destroy the art form we once crafted lovely"
He was on trial for rhyming immaturely
He was going to be the one to blow
But he was too young to know
I can't save you, from your own disaster
From your own nightmare
He was going to be the one to blow
But he was too young to know
I can't save you, from your own disaster
From your own nightmare
He was going to be the one to blow
But he was too young to know
I can't save you, from your own disaster
From your own nightmare
He was going to be the one to blow
But he was too young to know
