Throwback Therzday Lyrics

Ayo
Shoutout to all the homies first and foremost
Regardless if we were making music together or not
But this song goes out to 2 special homies of mine
Pause, hehe
Back in high school when we would just be stupid
I was in trio that was like the Three Stooges
We had Pinoy Larry and Greek Curly bro
I was surely Moe of Holmdel, New Jersey though
Started out as freshman, bonded by tenth grade
Through a science project that was a mess made
'Cause we were at my house for 4 whole days
Just to make a video for a song for Mole Day, hey
The more we’d hang out, hell yeah these dudes were bros
Like the times where we would party while we watched the Superbowl
Or how we’d Skype for 8 hours playing games
And then working on a short film day to day
By spring of junior year, that’s the height of it all
I’m not the oldest, but first to driving a car
So I was the ride from leaving school to go and grab a bite
Bourbon chicken at my house or fast food we’re passing by
We would blast music through the town cracking jokes
Like where’s my gas money, really I’m gassing though
Curly, do you have my dough, but they were friendly battle roasts
While we made our film of a rap battle show
Don’t even get me started on fuck, marry, kill
That brotherhood that I had with Curly and Larry’s real
Yeah those were great times that we had together
But as we all know, nothing lasts forever
Get in the trunk
Hahahaha (Bruh)
Ha ha ha, heh
How the hell do you do this? (Dude)
Why the hell is not working?
Yo it’s soaking wet
Go in the girls room
Lookin’ back at those days
I reminisce
Those were the better times
I surely miss
But everything changes
And I gotta keep up with change
Friends have turned to strangers
Nothing ever stays in place
Everything will change, now
Memories will fade away
Not the good ol’ days
They will always remain
But all good things must come to an end
Including the days we’d do dumb shit as friends
When Larry left before senior year, we had to say goodbye
When we threw a party for him, that was a great surprise
And that was when the triumvirate had crumbled in
And nothing could come again of what has been
It’s hard because Larry went out of state
Where you would have to drive about 500 miles away
A Filipino friend’s not the same as a Larry though
No more Pacquiao sketches, nothing was comparable
And Curly ghosted me and moved on to different squad
And later on, he would wanna have our friendship stop
By the time college came, it was impossible
Just to get together for even on the phone
With Curly out in Europe, it was hard for messagin’
And I admit, Curly, I could’ve been a better friend
'Cause that Stooges trio, I feel it now is ruined
When you barely pick up just to see how you’re doin’
It’s so hard for a once in awhile reunion, wow I’m stupid
Talking ‘bout the good times, I’m sounding foolish
When these cliques ain’t fucking family, just a sham to me
And it feels like everyone abandoned me
It won’t be the same, but I hope you guys'll be fine
Shit, you’re prolly listening to this Greek time
Y’know
I wish there was a way to know that you’re in the good old days
Before you’ve actually left them
Andy Bernard
Lookin’ back at those days
I reminisce
Those were the better times
I surely miss
But everything changes
And I gotta keep up with change
