This song basically explains itself.Someone she loved let her down and then when that person saw that all of her other friends left her,she came back to her but it was too late,and she had already moved on and refused to be let down by the same person all over again.This song reminds me of that saying "Karma is a bitch only if you are."
Don't know if this makes any sense to you,but I feel like I have to say this. I believe that she is talking about how people use religion to hide the fact that they feel empty and lonely on the inside and they turn to God just to stop feeling like they are all alone in this world,and are also using God to take responsibility for everything happening in their life,to hide the fact that they are completely lost. Now,this is just what I believe,and might not be accurate and it surely doesn't come with the intention of insulting christians and their religion.
