The reason the child isn't reacting with pure horror is because in ages between 2-8, with all the presents and thoughtful gifts, children start to think of Santa as their second father.

The child had came downstairs to see Santa, and saw his mother kissing "Santa Claus". Though the child doesn't know it, "Santa" Is his father in a red suit and fake beard.
