Mood cover Mood by 24kGoldn ft. iann dior

Former child actor Golden Landis Von Jones is now 19 and goes by the stage name 24kGoldn. Not your typical male teenager as he is now a worldwide star. He makes a clear message to the ladies, letting them know that even though he enjoys their company, he warns not to get attached because he won't. The song's main theme is the moodiness of the women they date and how it changed #24kGoldn and #ianndior mood also. An interesting part of the lyrics is explaining how it's not just guys playing games in the relationship but also the women. It sounds like 24kGoldn and iann dior has their hands full with ladies who are moody and manipulative.

Pursuit Of Happiness (Nightmare) cover Pursuit Of Happiness (Nightmare) by Kid Cudi ft. MGMT, Ratatat

Some may say this is ironic but, it's really not. The key word here is "Pursuit". On Monday Kid Cudi checked himself into rehab for depression and suicidal urges. Although the song is about happiness you can feel the struggle. Even in the tone of how he sings it sounds a little sad. I guess he has always been searching for happiness and thought he would get it once he became successful but, "Everything that's shine ain't always gonna be gold (hey)"

Alright cover Alright by Kendrick Lamar

Calling out to "Jesus of Nazareth". Confessing his imperfection with only 3 words and recognizing that no man on earth is perfect.

Alright cover Alright by Kendrick Lamar

Here Kendric is chanting positive words to affirm himself that God has a plan for everyone and everything will workout in the end. Even though things at time are hard and there seems to be no light at the end, he maintains his faith and believes that all hardship will be a thing of the past.

King Kunta cover King Kunta by Kendrick Lamar

This is where Kendrick takes a stance against new artist using ghostwriter. There was a time when having a ghost writer was not accepted in Hip Hop. It seems like the new generation of rapper have become more accepting of ghostwriting. Kendrick believes that new artist show stand behind their work and honor the code of Hip Hop. He encourages new artist to enter with their own creativity ideas and if any help is received then proper attribution should be given. The funny think about this is that Kendrick stared out as a ghostwriter so he know which artist are using them.

Waves cover Waves by Mr. Probz

The feeling of drowning shows that he is unable to manage and is loosing the fight. He fights against the stream but, this takes much more effort and energy and will tire him out quicker.

Waves cover Waves by Mr. Probz

The relationship is becoming more and more distant. The waves (issues in the relationship) are continuous and they cause him to feel increasingly more distant.

Waves cover Waves by Mr. Probz

Not being unable to see the sand (shore), he doesn't know which direction to go. It also shows that he is far from safety with out his special person around to bring him back.

Waves cover Waves by Mr. Probz

Here Mr. Probz paints a vivid picture which depicts a situation where he is "neck deep" and things seem hopeless. With nothing to stand on its only a matter of time before he goes under.
