Less Than One
Lyrics
I got about six percent of the burrito in my mouth, the rest went on my lap
I tasted less than thirty percent of what I ate, none of which I did not forget
the only way I get any sleep is if ten radios are playing
less than one of the seven ideas I had might be something I don't later regret
I bought half of a timeshare, half of me will be staying there
I took a walk, I got tired, I turned around and I got almost home
but then I got tired and turned around again
I wrote this down, I erased it, I was filled with remorse for both
erasing it and also for writing it down
the ten radios only work if each one is tuned to different stations
every one of the one million times I have remembered that it turned out not to work
I was not entirely wrong, I've got part of a brain
but the part that I don't have has got a migraine
I took a walk, I got tired, I turned around and I got almost home
but then I got tired and turned around again
I wrote this down, I erased it, I was filled with remorse for both
erasing it and also for writing it down
the radios continue playing the same thing even when they're broken
less than point five of the million times I closed my eyes I couldn't open them again
