This song reminds me of my eating disorder. "Can't you see I'm trying? When you have an eating disorder, you're usually trying really hard. Either trying really hard to get better or trying really hard to get worse. And often trying to be perfect in every other aspect of your life, but feeling like you can't do anything right. "I don't even like it" I don't really like starving. I mean I do, but it also sucks. You get so weak and you can't do anything. You become useless, mentally and physically. "I can't think cause I'm just way too tired" Pretty self-explanatory I think. "Said they'd give you everything you ever wanted." The empty promises of an eating disorder. It tells you you'll gain control. Really you just lose it. "Is this it?" Eating disorders are often a way to find transcendence. Like you almost convince yourself that you don't need to eat, almost like you're somehow above human nature. It makes you feel powerful. But at the same time, you feel like there must be something more. You find yourself wondering "is this it?"
