Who is SoMo?
The American singer and songwriter SoMo (born Joseph Anthony Somers-Morales in Austin, Texas on September 11, 1987) is an R&B artist who first garnered attention by sharing his original music and cover songs on YouTube, where his videos collected more than 200 million views. He signed a contract with Republic Records in October 2013. His debut single, “Ride,” was included on the 2013 release of his remastered mixtape My Life. ”Ride” rose to No. 76 on the Billboard Top 100. In April 2014, SoMo released his self-titled debut album. MyLife 11 was released on September 11, 2015, the performer’s 28th birthday.
