Who is Purity Ring?
The electronic music partnership Purity Ring came together in 2010 and is originally from Edmonton, Alberta. Its members are vocalist Megan James and musician Corin Roddick. They two first performed together as part of the group Born Gold before collaborating on the song “Ungirthed” that would lead them to form Purity Ring. Their debut album, Shrines, came out in July 2012. It included the singles “Obedear” and “Fineshrine.” A second album, Another Eternity (2015), includes the songs “Push Pull,” “Begin Again” and “Repetition.”
