Who is Placebo?
The English alternative rock band Placebo was together in London in 1994. The members are Brian Molko and Stefan Olsdal, the two founding members, along with drummer Matt Lunn. Placebo has released seven studio albums and sold 11 million records. All seven of their albums have made it into the top 20 in the UK. Their self-titled debut album came out in 1996 and reached the fifth spot on the UK Album Chart. It included the popular single “Nancy Boy.” Two years later, they released Without You I’m Nothing with the lead single “Pure Morning.” More recently, Placebo released Loud Like Love in 2013.
