Who is Mannie Fresh?
Mannie Fresh is the stage name of Byron O. Thomas. The hip hop artist, DJ and producer was born on March 20, 1969 in New Orleans, Louisiana. Mannie Fresh is half of the duo Big Tymers. (The other half being Birdman.) Fresh recorded with Birdman’s label Cash Money Records for over a decade. Thomas also performed as a member of Big Tymers As a solo artists, he he released four studio albums. The first, The Mind of Mannie Fresh (2004), reached the top 50 of the Billboard 200 chart. His latest album, OMFGOD (2015), was a collaboration with Yasiin Bey.
