Who is Kygo?
Kyrre Gorvell-Dahll is the real name of world famous DJ, Kygo. Born in 1991, he is a product of his era having reached his fame via online routes. His remix of the Ed Sheeran tune "I See Fire" and his YouTube videos have built an audience of more than 100 million fans. Spotify also tracks him as having over 275 million plays to date as well. His rise to fame has been rapid, and his acceptance by the musical community just as robust. Chris Martin of Coldplay has worked with him as have vocalists like Will Heard and Ella Henderson. He has gone platinum on several tracks and is clearly positioned to increase his popularity and listener base.
