Who is DMX?

DMX, or Dark Man X, is the professional name for Earl Simmons, a rapper and actor born on December 18, 1970 in Mount Vernon, New York. He released the best-selling album ...And Then There Was X in 1999. The album included the song "Party Up (Up in Here)," his most successful single ever. DMX's next album, his fourth studio release, was 2001's The Great Depression. The album included the singles "Who We Be" and "Shorty Was the Bomb," songs that helped make the album DMX's fourth album to debut in the top spot on the  Billboard 200 chart. He released the album Undisputed in 2012.
