Who is CAKE?

Cake is an American five-piece alternative rock group. They released their debut album Motorcade of Generosity in 1994 and have since released six studio albums. The group enjoyed their greatest commercial success in the late '90s, with their second and third albums Fashion Nugget (1996) and Prolonging the Magic (1998) both going Platinum in the US. The former was boosted by the success of single The Distance, while the latter featured the hit single Never There.
