Lil Dicky, an upcoming Philly rapper who managed to outsource his career based on a crowdfunding campaign, is now taking full advantage of the opportunity he gained by delivering a strong message with Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan. All new rappers who worked every day and night to get in a good position for monetizing their talent and now are quick to spend their first check on partying, clothes, jewels, cars, and women are actually hustling backward according to Dicky and shows it in his hit singly $ave Dat Money.
If you Haven’t Seen the Music Video yet, Here it is!
Instead of going that way, everyone should be focusing on one thing and one thing only: saving their cash. Solid proof that a strategy like this works is the video for this song because in the end it was made without any budget whatsoever and Lil Dicky actually managed to gain $600 on product placement without spending money. The rapper went from door to door to ask rich people for some sympathy in renting their cars, boats, and houses for 15 minutes to shoot the visuals, and even if the struggle was real he actually managed to pull out a video without blowing any cash.
It’s hard to understand how Fetty Wap and Rich Homie Quan agreed to jump on this track since their financial philosophy is the exact opposite but, you got to admit both of them did a great job making the song better.
What’s the Moral of the Story?
Stay focused when it comes to spending your money, don’t buy drinks for girls you don’t know, don’t wear clothes you can’t afford, do the math, read the paperwork and save up as much as you possibly can.
Even if many people chose not to take Lil Dicky seriously, the “professional rapper” already has a large and loyal fan base and he actually managed to outsell Migos with his debut album in the first week from the release.
