Who is ZZ Ward?
ZZ Ward is the professional name of musician and songwriter Zsuzsanna Eva Ward, born on June 2, 1989 in Abington, Pennsylvania and eventually moving with her family to Roseburg, Oregon. Ward’s debut EP, Criminal, came out in May 2012 and her debut album, Til the Casket Drops, came out the following October. Her first single, “Put The Gun Down,” reached the top 10 on the adult alternative radio play chart in February 2013 and reached the top 40 of the Billboard Alternative chart. Along with touring alongside Eric Clapton, Ward has had songs featured on TV shows including “Pretty Little Liars,” “Veronica Mars,” and “The View.”
