Who is KISS?
American rock band KISS is one of the greatest selling musical groups of all time with more than 100 million record sales worldwide. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley formed KISS in New York City in early 1973 and rose in popularity with their signature face paint and stage antics. Through numerous membership changes, Simmons and Stanley have remained the only consistent members. Although the band's hay days were in the late 70s and early 80s, KISS experienced a resurgence in popularity in the mid 90s. Since then, KISS has continued to tour. Their last studio album, Monster, came out in 2012.
