Who is The Damned?
The Damned is an English punk band formed in 1976. The group helped pioneer the genre, and were the first UK punk band to release a single, release an album and tour the US. Despite frequent line-up changes, the band has issued 10 studio albums. Throughout the 70s the group released a number of punk rock albums, before shifting into a goth rock sound with The Black Album (1980).
