Who is Passion Pit?
From a recording done for his sweetheart on Valentine's Day 2007, Boston-born artist Michael Angelakos became the founding member of Passion Pit. By 2008, the band had been form and was doing live gigs with bigger names. This led to a label offering them a contract and by 2009 they were able to cut their first album. A success, the group grew to include Angelakos, Ian Hultquist, Ayad Al Adhamy, Nate Donmoyer and Jeff Apuzzese, though has since lost most of its members, citing only Angelakos on the liner notes of their third studio recording. Passion Pit has also appeared on Saturday and Night Live.
