Who is Nneka?
Nneka Lucia Egbuna (born 24 December 1980, Warri, Nigeria) is a German-Nigerian singer/ songwriter and hip hop/soul artist. Based in Hamburg, Germany since 2003 she sings in Igbo and English. She was under the wing of hip hop beatmaker DJ Farhot, a producer living in Hamburg. She opened for dancehall reggae star Sean Paul at the Hamburg Stadtpark in 2004 and soon gained her first album entitled Victim of Truth. This was released in Germany, Netherlands, France, Nigeria, England, and Japan. Fans will know her single "Gypsy".
