Who is Kings of Leon?
The American rock group Kings of Leon came together in Nashville, Tennesee in 2010. Its members are the brothers Caleb, Nathan and Jared Followill along with their cousin Matthew Followill. The band's sound has evolved from a blend of Southern rock and blues to expanded genres more akin to alternative rock and arena rock. The group has had a total of seven Grammy Award nominations that have led to three wins. Their 2003 debut album, Youth & Young Manhood, went three-times platinum in Australia and twice-platinum in the United States. Their album Mechanical Bull was released in 2013.
