Who is In This Moment?
In This Moment is an American metal band founded in 2005 by vocalist Maria Brink and guitarist Chris Howarth. They initially played in a metalcore/alternative metal style and later moved into industrial metal territory. Brink writes all the band's lyrics and is known for her provocative performances, which became increasingly theatrical as the band's career progressed. In This Moment's debut album is Beautiful Tragedy (2007) and they have since released a total of five studio albums. Their fourth and fifth albums, Blood (2012) and Black Widow (2014), have been their most commercially successful, with both charting in the US Billboard top 20.
