Who is Cardi B?
Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar Cephus, also known as Cardi B was born in Flatbush, New York on October 11th, 1992 to parents of Caribbean descent. Cardi B began her career as an exotic dancer, but achieved success after several posts on social media went viral. She became an internet celebrity by posting videos online for Vine and Instagram, which then led to her appearance on VH1's reality series Love & Hip Hop: New York from 2015-2017.
Cardi B released her first mixtape Gangsta Bitch Music, Vol. 1 on March 7, 2016, and then released the second volume just several months later on January 20, 2017. Cardi B was hired by Playboy magazine as the Creative Director in 2022. Cardi B is known for her unique flow and no-fuss bravado rap speech.
