Who is Angus & Julia Stone?
Angus & Julia Stone is an Australian folk-pop duo, consisting of siblings Angus Stone and Julia Stone. Their first album A Book Like This (2007) emphasised the folk/blues elements of their sound, while subsequent releases Down the Way (2010) and Angus & Julia Stone (2014) saw the band move into indie pop territory. Their second and third albums hit the number one spot on the Australian ARIA chart, and their third album hit the top ten in eight countries. In 2010 they took out five ARIA Music Awards, namely Album of the Year, Best Adult Alternative Album, Single of the Year for Big Jet Plane, Best Cover Art and Producer of the Year (the duo produced the majority of the record themselves).
